Bikur Cholim of Lakewood is a non-profit organization that supports members of the community as they navigate difficult medical challenges. After years of helping women with health issues that were preventable, they decided to plan a major health expo that would empower women to take charge of their health.

How we got involved

3 months prior to the event, the event coordinators turned to 14Minds to create a strategic marketing plan that would maximize event attendance. Their goal was to get 1,000 women to attend, and we were optimistic that we could help them reach that goal with the right marketing.

Challenges + Insights

– Health is not the most exciting topic; we needed to find a way to compel women to attend

– We had only a few months to plan and execute the entire campaign; with Pesach falling right in the middle

– The community still has a stigma around bringing women’s health out in the open, so our messages had to be sensitive but still impactful
